Ana sayfa / News

Huawei is preparing to make a strong comeback with its next-generation Kirin 9100 processor. Recently leaked information says good things about the new chip. Kirin 9100 will be produced with 6nm SMIC N+3 process technology. In fact, it is rumored that Huawei will realize its long-awaited performance breakthrough with this chip. So, what kind of chip do we expect to see? Details in our news…

Drawing attention with its octa-core structure, Kirin 9100 offers high speed and efficiency by combining Cortex-X1, Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores. The Cortex-X1, whose main core runs at 2.67 GHz, is said to make a big leap in terms of performance. In addition to this powerful core, there are three Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.32 GHz and 4 energy efficient Cortex-A55 cores at 2.02 GHz.

On the graphics side, Huawei uses its in-house developed Maleoon 910 GPU. This graphics processor was also used in last year’s Kirin 9010 model. This year, it will appear before users again with a re-developed version. It was stated that Huawei designed the Kirin 9100 chip to compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the CPU side. In terms of GPU performance, Kirin 9100 will offer Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 level performance.

It is also rumored that Kirin 9100 will be successful in energy efficiency. The 6nm manufacturing technology will enable the chip to consume less energy, while offering longer battery life without cutting performance. Huawei’s new chip will appear for the first time with the Mate 70 series.

We will wait and see if the chip, which is expected to achieve approximately 1.1 million AnTuTu points in performance tests, will be able to bring Huawei back to its old strong days in the smartphone market.
